A gelato shop off the Royal Mile has launched a brand new menu item - and we can't think of anything better for this weekend's heatwave in Edinburgh.
Smoov, located on the Canongate, sells a mix of fresh and natural gelato and specialty freshly-brewed coffee.
The ice cream and coffee shop is well-known for their experimental flavours and incredible gluten-free waffles but their latest creation may be their best yet.

Freshly baked doughnuts are stuffed with one of Smoov's home-made gelatos - creating a decadent treat that's warm and crunchy on the outside, smooth and creamy on the inside.
The team's flavours change every couple of days but flavours include Kinder Bueno, dark chocolate, cranachan, Pina Colada sorbet and cherry cheesecake meringue.
Don't expect just a plain warm doughnut either - team Smoov smother the doughnut in sauce and toppings such as white chocolate sauce and crispy amaretto biscuits!
Smoov are open at 244 Canongate, 7 days a week: Monday to Friday 10:00am - 18:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 11:00am - 18:00pm.
