Traffic is struggling to pass after a major Edinburgh road completely flooded.
A torrential downpour and blocked drains has caused mayhem on the busy road.

Newhaven Road has become submerged under excessive water this morning due to the heavy showers across the city today that draining systems in the area can not handle.
Pictures show the busy roundabout near Lindsay Road and Starbank Road flooded with so much murky rain water you can't see the actual road.
More pictures display vehicles struggling to get through the water.
A local resident told Edinburgh Live "One car goes through it so fast it rips part of the car off.
"The pavement is still submerged now. It happens all the time. Every time it rains."
The capital is set for heavy showers until later on today where the rain should clear into a dry but cloudy evening.
