Edinburgh restaurant home to 'world's best ever burger' opens huge new venue

A Scottish restaurant chain said to be home to the 'world's best burger' by Tripadvisor reviewers from around the globe has opened its largest ever restaurant in Fort Kinnaird.

Bread Meats Bread, which has branches in Edinburgh and Glasgow, is known for its award-winning burgers and now they've set up shop in the former Chiquitos unit at the retail park which borders Edinburgh and East Lothian.

The eatery has also been featured in the World's Top 50 Burgers and has been awarded Scotland’s Best Burger of 2016, Glasgow’s Best Burger of 2015 and 2016 and Glasgow Best Rebel Burger of 2015 - so it's safe to say you're in good hands when it comes to treating yourself to dinner at BMB.

And the fact that a Scottish business has taken over the site has left customers buzzing - with over 600 people liking the news on Instagram.

"The place is looking AMAZING", wrote one user while another added "OMG I need to visit now!".

TripAdvisor reviewers have tipped the restaurant's 'Luther Burger' as one of the world's best - the burger has one very specific difference to your usual run-of-the-mill offering as it features two glazed doughnuts instead of buns.

With two beef patties, American cheese, candied bacon, spicy mayo and crispy fried onions inside a grilled glazed ring donut, it isn't hard to see why people are going daft over it - our mouths are watering writing this.

Bookings for Bread Meats Bread are open now - head to their website to find out more.
