Edinburgh is set to host another blockbuster film, as the Fast and Furious franchise plans to film in the capital this year.
The ninth installment of the high-octane series will be shooting scenes on George Street in September.
So could we see some fast cars and furious stars in the New Town?
We don't know which exact scenes will be shot, but there's a possibility the likes of the likes of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and John Cena could show up.
After news of the filming broke, Edinburgh Live readers and social media users were quick to point out the irony of the petrolhead film showing up in a city with 20mph limits on most streets.
