Edinburgh ranked one of 'friendliest cities in the UK' by Conde Nast

Edinburgh has been rated as the fifth most friendly city in the UK, according to Conde Nast.

The international publication has released a list of the cities their readers consider to be home to the friendliest people in 2021, with the capital ranking in the top five.

Known for its rich history and beautiful architecture, Edinburgh it seems is also home to some pretty great people (we can agree with that.)

Beating out a huge number of English cities, the Scottish capital ranked above locations such as London and Manchester, and was given a score of 92.66 out of 100.

In sixth place was Aberdeen with a score of 90, meaning Edinburgh is just slightly friendlier than our friends in the north.

However, the capital was just outranked by our neighbouring city in the west, as Glasgow took fourth place with an impressive score of 95 out of 100.
