Edinburgh 'Quality Street station' will allow shoppers to create own personalised tin of sweets

A pop-up Quality Street station in Edinburgh will allow shoppers to customise their own tin of chocolates.

John Lewis & Partners in the city will be launching the exclusive pop-up in the lead up to Christmas, much to the delight of those who love their sweet treats.

Last year they offered customers in some UK stores a pick and mix option where they could fill a tin with their three Quality Street favourites.

However this time around shoppers are able to fill a tin with any combination they like, choosing from the full selection – so there's no holding back.

Those who visit the pop-up will also be able to further personalise their tin by replacing the word Quality with whatever they like.

And that's not all.

A new, exclusive Quality Street sweet will be unveiled by John Lewis & Partners – adding to the 12 traditional sweets they already have.

The 'Crispy Truffle Bite' is described as having a smooth praline centre mixed with crispy cereal bites, covered in milk chocolate.

Rachel Costello, partner and gift food buyer at John Lewis said: “Last year our customers response to the personalised Quality Street tins was overwhelming.

"This year we have gone even bigger with an exclusive sweet, only sold in our shops, and for the first time ever, customers can choose to ‘pick and don’t mix’, ensuring there are no chocolates left languishing at the bottom of a tin.

"I hope our customers in Edinburgh will enjoy making personalised tins filled with their own favourites.”
