A large three-bedroom house just outside Edinburgh is up for sale at less than £100,000, and we think it could be the ultimate renovation project.
The fixer-upper, located in the Midlothian town of Gorebridge, is significantly cheaper than other similar properties to have hit the market in the area in recent times. According to its Zoopla listing, Future Property Auctions say other houses in close proximity sold for £310,000 and £230,000.
The current guide price for the house is £95,000, with buyers to battle it out at an online auction on Friday.
While the house is of a large size, and it comes with three bedrooms, an entrance hall, living room, kitchen, utility room, toilet and bathroom, it is in need of a major upgrade.
Future Property Auctions say it "is not currently suitable for habitation" and needs a full refurbishment.
They add: "Sure to appeal to builder/investor looking for a project in a sought after location."
The property, on the upmarket Lady Emily Way, is also said to benefit from a garage, large garden and off-street parking.
