Edinburgh Pride headliners announced as Princes Street party unveiled

The main headliners for 2023's Pride Edinburgh Festival have officially been announced, as singer Louisa Johnson and RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard will appear in the capital.

This year, Pride Edinburgh is returning in its full form after a scaled-back event in 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic, marking its 28th year.

Headlining the Johnnie Walker Princes Street Main Stage on Saturday, June 24, will be Louisa Johnson and Danny Beard, alongside a whole host of other exciting acts.

A DJ set from Bradley from S Club will also be a part of the celebrations, and the event will be hosted by Drag stars Ruby Murry from Britain’s Got Talent and Edinburgh’s Cherry West.

Supporting acts include the X-Factor’s CutKelvins, Rupauls Drag Race UK star Ellie Diamond, TikTok star Littlest Chicken, new Scottish Drag group Gurl Band, Blaze the Queen and Skinny Minnie.

Pride-goers can expect to walk the streets of Edinburgh on the Pride Edinburgh March and enjoy the Festival Village around Bristo Square.

Pride Edinburgh also announced their partners for the festival, including TrainPal, Kimpton Hotel, LNER, Tesco, Siemens, Skyscanner, Aegon, The Dungeons, and Deloitte.

Pride Edinburgh March route and map

Attendees are asked to gather at 12:30pm in front of the Scottish Parliament with the march commencing at 1pm.

Pride-goers can expect to walk the streets of Edinburgh on the Pride Edinburgh March culminating at the festival village around Bristo Square.

From the Scottish Parliament the March will then go to: Canongate, High Street, George IV Bridge, Bristo Place, Lothian Street, Potterrow, Crichton Street, Charles Street and finish at The Pride Edinburgh Festival Village in the EUSA Complex (Bristo Square).
