Scottish Power has confirmed that certain Edinburgh postcodes are currently being affected by a sudden power cut in the capital.
The power outage has also affected the traffic lights at on Queensferry Road at Drum Brae and Barnton junctions.
Edinburgh Travel News said: "Traffic signals reported all out on Queensferry Road at Drum Brae and Barnton junctions (EH4)."
The postcodes confirmed to be affected by the power cut are: "#EH4 #EH11 #EH12."
On Twitter, Scottish power said: "We are aware of a #POWERCUT in #EH4 #EH11 #EH12 #Edinburgh.
