Edinburgh pop-up 'jungle' with more than 4,000 plants on sale returning to capital

Are you an avid house plant parent? Or maybe (like us) you need to replace all the plants you've accidentally killed during lockdown?

Well, fortunately for green-fingered Edinburgh locals, legendary pop-up 'jungle' Bergamotte are coming back to the capital next month with their travelling plant shop.

Organisers describe the event as: "An urban greenhouse with a wide selection of plants: hanging, exotic, graphic or prickly - there’s something for everyone and for every budget."

The travelling pop-up will be bringing along a whopping 4000 plants to their Edinburgh event with staff on hand to help you find your perfect leafy pal.

A selection of plant pots, hand-made baskets and dried flowers will also be on offer - but remember to bring your own bag to take your new leafy pal home in.

Taking place at Custom Lane in Leith from May 12 - 15, Bergamotte have asked shoppers to book half hour slots to visit their popular pop-up to prevent queues and overcrowding - card payment will also only be available over the four day pop-up.

The market will be open from 10am - 7pm Wednesday to Friday and then from 10am - 6pm on Saturday.

You can book your slot and find out more on Bergamotte's Eventbrite here.
