Edinburgh police executed a drug raid in a residential street today in front of shocked locals.
Residents on the street in Sighthill Loan were woken up at 7am as officers crashed through the door of a neighbouring property and carried out the search.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live one man described seeing cops put the door through this morning before confiscating various items.

He said they remained at the scene until midday and left, but more police vans returned again shortly after and left with more bags of evidence.
The man said some of the items looked like it could be "growing equipment".

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers executed a drug search warrant at a property on Sighthill Loan in Edinburgh during the morning of Friday, 19 November.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
