Edinburgh police cordon off house in Linden Avenue to probe 'unexplained' death of man

Police in Edinburgh have confirmed that they are currently investigating the death of a 54-year-old man in Gracemount near Liberton in south Edinburgh.

A house on Linden Avenue has been taped off by officers since Thursday morning, with police also standing guard outside the property.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:

"Police in Edinburgh attended at an address in Linden Avenue at around 11.30am on Thursday 25th July where a 54-year-old man was found dead within.

"The death is being treated as unexplained at this time and inquiries are continuing."
