Police in Edinburgh seized two vehicles after conducting roadside checks as they continued their crack down on uninsured drivers.
Officers in Edinburgh's south east were out and about on Liberton Gardens, Holyrood Road and Gilmerton Station Road on Monday to conduct checks and said two motors were seized as well as various other drivers given warnings.
In a tweet informing social media users of their continued hard work to crack down on uninsured drivers, they said: "Officers conducted road checks at Liberton Gardens, Holyrood Road and Gilmerton Station Road.

"Two vehicles were found to have no insurance - both were seized. Several other offences were reported warnings provided to drivers."
Elsewhere, a nightshift team caught another driver out for having no insurance after stopping a red Audi on Sunday evening on the off chance.
Road Policing Scotland tweeted: "EdinburghRP out on nightshift patrols, saw this vehicle being driven and decided to have a chat.
"Turns out the driver isn’t insured to drive the vehicle and a report will be submitted to @COPFS with the vehicle seized."
