Edinburgh motorists are advised to 'take care' after a road traffic collision tonight.
Police officers are at the scene and there are restrictions on the road.
Traffic Scotland reported the news online of the crash on the A720.
They said: "Lane 1 of 2 is closed on the Edinburgh City Bypass westbound between Calder and Hermiston Gait.
"Police are on scene. Traffic is coping but take care on approach."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report of a two car crash on the Edinburgh City Bypass at the Calder junction around 7pm.
"The vehicles are currently being uplifted from the road and enquiries are continuing."
