Edinburgh police arrest and charge 21 year-old man in connection with casino robbery

A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the armed robbery at a casino in Edinburgh according to Police Scotland.

Police in the city were appealing for information earlier this week after the alleged armed robbery at a casino in Fountainbridge.

Police said in a statement : “A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery at a casino in Edinburgh.

“The incident happened on Dundee Street around 1am on Monday, 9 August.

“The man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.”
