Officers in Edinburgh are appealing to the public to help trace the whereabouts of a missing Edinburgh teen.
Debbie Payne was last spotted on Craigentinny Road in the capital at around noon on Tuesday, January 24 and police say they are becoming increasingly worried for her welfare.
Debbie has links to the Livingston area in West Lothian and has been described as being 5ft tall with a slim build and long hair which is dyed dark purple.

She was wearing a grey jumper and a black waistcoat as well as black leggings when she was last seen.
The Edinburgh Police Division shared a statement on Facebook: “We are asking for the help of the public to trace a 13-year-old girl reported missing from Edinburgh who has connections in the Livingston area.
“Debbie Payne, was last seen in the Craigentinny Road area of the city around 12pm on Tuesday, 24 January, and concerns are growing for her welfare.
“She is described as 5ft, of slim build with long hair, dyed dark purple. When last seen she was wearing a grey jumper, black waistcoat and black leggings.
“Anyone who has seen Debbie or knows where she might be is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 1687 of Tuesday, 24 January, 2023.”
