Edinburgh pensioner rushed to hospital after being hit by car outside Duke Street Tesco

Edinburgh police have raced to the scene of a collision outside a Tesco store in the north of the city this afternoon.

A pedestrian was struck by a car, police confirmed. The 76-year-old male pedestrian has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
