An Edinburgh OAP has been left in hospital after a fire ripped through a property.
The 84-year-old was rushed to hospital after being rescued from a fire in a property on Broughton Road.
Emergency services attended the scene on Tuesday October 26, shortly after 8:00pm.

Shocking images show the road shut off while a number of fire appliances attended the scene.
A section of the road, between Beaverhall Road and East Claremont Street, was taped off to motorists.
The pensioner was taken to hospital, where it is believed she was treated for smoke inhalation. Her exact condition is not known at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a fire within a property on Broughton Road in Edinburgh around 8.20pm on Tuesday, 26 October, 2021.
“An 84-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.”
A fire service spokesperson confirmed they were called to the fire but were unable to provide any further details.
