Edinburgh nightclub Lulu's to reopen as late night lounge and cocktail bar

Lulu's nightclub will finally be reopening after months of closure, with a host of new measures in place.

The popular George Street venue has been unable to allow customers in since the beginning of lockdown, however that is set to change as the club turns into a 'late-night lounge'.

Opening on September 18, Lulu's will open its doors with a brand new layout to allow for social distancing, with each booking allocated their own private booth.

With dividers between each section, party goers will also be able to try a brand new drinks menu featuring a range of new cocktails and packages.

According to Lulu's, the 'Lounge Edit' will have "a more relaxed atmosphere" than locals will be used to, however the venue will be open until 3am.

Unfortunately due to the current government guidance there will be no music at the lounge after the First Minister confirmed they are looking into finding an acceptable 'decibel level' that hospitality venues could use.

From September 18, Lulu's will be open every Friday and Saturday night, with more information on how to book a table to be found here.
