Edinburgh Neighbourgood Market confirms 2023 dates with new food and drink stalls

One of Edinburgh's biggest food and drink markets have announced their return this summer with new vendors and dates.

The Neighbourgood Market, in Stockbridge, took to Instagram to tease fans of their return ahead of summer 2023 and added that new food and drink vendors will be making an appearance this year.

The team also said it's bound to be their biggest market yet with further announcements expected in due course.

The open-air market attracted 80,000 visitors over an ten week period in the summer of 2021, and is expected to have even more foodies visit this time around.

Although a list of vendors and entertainment acts are yet to be confirmed, the market teamed up with brewers Innis & Gunn last year and struck a deal for the next three years, serving from their bespoke branded trucks.

Over ten different street food pop-ups were set up at the market last year including Pizza Geeks, Mimi's Bakehouse, The Mac Man, Kochchi and Luxford Burgers.

Taking to Instagram to mark their return, and with a slightly later opening date of May 17 to July 31, The Neighbourgood Market posted: "WE'RE BACK BABY. The Neighbourgood Market is back for 2023 and we could not be more excited!

"New food traders, new drinks traders and new events, this year is bound to be our best yet. Can’t wait to see what we’ve got planned? Keep an eye on our socials for some fun announcements. Doors open on May 17th."

The fun doesn't end with food and drink stalls either. In terms of entertainment, last year saw huge screens erected to show Wimbledon, weekly quizzes and live music from local artists.

The market will be open Wednesday-Sunday from midday to 10pm. For more information and future announcements, you can stay up to date via the Neighbourgood Market website.
