Edinburgh has been named among the UK's "tattoo capitals" with more than 30 parlours currently open for business.
Research carried out by Cosmetify found that you really don't have to look too far if you're looking for a place to get inked in the Scottish capital.
Their study revealed that there are 32 tattoo shops in Edinburgh, which is third highest of the 107 major towns and cities included, and this translates to 6.56 for every 100,000 people. It also means that there are 0.31 shops per square mile.
Glasgow actually comes out on top with 37 shops – 6.05 per 100,000 people and 0.54 shops per square mile. Brighton and Hove separates Scotland's two biggest cities.
On carrying out the research, Cosmetify said: "The artistic talent you can find in the caves of UK tattoo parlours is ink-redible. Ranging from colourful Disney tattoos to lifelike portraits and beyond, the body art being created in Britain is making its mark on the high street.
"With so much talent spread out across the country, wouldn't it be great to know where the best place to get inked is?
"Comparing the number of tattoo shops with the square mileage of some of the UK's largest towns and cities, we've discovered the tattoo capital of Britain."
