Edinburgh singer-songwriter Callum Beattie brought a taste of live music back to the streets of Edinburgh with an impromptu gig in the city centre.
The Leith-born musician posted a video on his Twitter with the caption: "It’ll take more than a few cancelled festivals to keep us down!
"Walking past CC Blooms and someone shouted 'Play Salamander Street' Who am I to say no?
"Absolutely love being back in my home country - the best people in the world."
The 'Lost Souls' singer belted out his hit song 'Salamander Street' while pub-goers sitting outside Habana's joined in a singsong and swayed along to the chart-topping tune.
One couple in front of Beattie cuddled up together and waved their arms as he sang in front of them, in a picturesque mini gig on Greenside Place in the capital.
Workers in the city centre LGBTQ+ bar and restaurant filmed Callum and the other customers as they joined in with the song, as the 24°C heat beat down on the outside seating area.
A round of applause filled the air as Callum finished the song off, walking away from the pub with cheers from the adoring crowd.
