An Edinburgh mum is searching for the kind stranger who gave her daughters the prize he won at the Christmas Market which she has said absolutely made her day.
Mum-of-two Kristina Cranfield, 41, who is a doctor in the busy A&E department said the stranger made their day with the kind gesture and has restored her faith in human kindness.
The mum said it was a Northern Irish man and his female friend that gave the adorable Winnie the Pooh teddy he had won at the markets to daughters Amélie, seven and five-year-old Élodie.
She is now trying to track down the Northern Irish lad who is behind the kind gesture through social media to thank him.
Kristina tweeted: "To the lad who restored my faith in human kindness, when he gave Pooh he won at the market to us-what a kind thing when Xmas cheer is out of the window.
"He wouldn’t know I’m an A&E doc right now, NHS staff are clinging to tiny bits of positivity.. thank you xx Pls RT so he sees?"
The heartwarming post also got shared to Facebook which gained over 600 likes with the kind gesture cheering many locals up.
One user said: "Oh that just restored my faith in the magic of Christmas.. what a kind thing to do. Thank you for looking after our nearest and dearest."
Another exclaimed: "What a lovely gesture. There are more kind people in the world than not even though it doesn’t always feel like that."
