Edinburgh muggles can attend a Harry Potter inspired lunch or dinner with illusionists and more

Muggles can get in on the magic at an event inspired by the wizarding world of Harry Potter taking place in Edinburgh later this year - here's everything you need to know.

The Wizard Lunch and Dinner is taking place at a secret location in September 2020, organised by Immersive Events, who are also putting on the VIP singalong cinema pop-up, screening Mamma Mia.

The family-friendly event will have two options available for guests, either a lunch or a dinner.

The menu also caters vegetarians and organisers say they look to have a couple of vegan and gluten free options available on the day, as well.

Tickets cost between £79-£99, which includes your meal and some rather magical entertainment and spooky antics.

As you tuck into food, there will be illusionists, magicians showing off their best tricks, fortune tellers who might just surprise you, talented jugglers and more taking to the stage.

While guests are welcome to wear whatever they wish, everyone is encouraged to get in character and dress up for the event - time to dust off your broomsticks and cloaks Potterheads.

Children aged between 3-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

You can buy tickets from the designmynight website here.
