Edinburgh Marathon runners are to be handed a sweet treat when they cross the finish line this year.
Scottish berry grower, Angus Soft Fruits, has partnered with Edinburgh Marathon Festival to hand out thousands of FREE strawberries to marathon and half marathon finishers.
They will also be out and about on the capital's streets, so competitors can grab a punnet or two as they make the journey home.

Lochy Porter, Chairman of Angus Soft Fruits, said: “We’re very excited to be working with the Edinburgh Marathon Festival to help runners refuel at the finish line.
"Good luck to all those taking part in this year’s Edinburgh Marathon Festival and make sure you look out for your free AVA™ strawberries."
