A young Edinburgh man has sadly been found dead at an Edinburgh home near the Clermiston area of the city.
Police were called out following concern for a person at Essendean Terrace at around 7.50am on Friday morning.
Sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 7.50am on Friday, 7 May, officers were called to a property on Essendean Terrace, in Edinburgh, following a report of a concern for a person.
"A 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
