Edinburgh man sees funny side as highland cow blocks Pentlands dog walking path

An Edinburgh dog walker was left baffled after coming across an unusual visitor during his daily walk in the Pentland Hills on Sunday evening.

Edinburgh resident Graeme Tate was out walking his dog Darcy when he came face to face with a massive, black Highland Cow sitting in the middle of the path.

Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Graeme said: "I was out for a walk with my Dog (Darcy) in the Pentlands and we were coming back down near Hillend when we came across our friend sitting right in the middle of the path.

"It would have been rude to ask her to moooo-ve, so we left her alone and went the long way around."

Graeme also posted the amazing photo onto a Pentlands community page, with the caption: "Hmm. Well, I'm not going to ask her to get out of the way."

Others responded to the hilarious photo, with one user saying: "The Heilan Coo is the most peaceful Cattle in the world."

Another said: "Moooooooove!"
