Edinburgh man missing from home in Niddrie as police launch appeal to trace him

Police have launched an appeal to trace a man missing from Edinburgh since last weekend.

Dale Cosgrove was last seen in the Niddrie area last Sunday and family members are reportedly concerned for his welfare.

The 23-year-old is described as being around 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slim build and short, brown hair.

Officers said he was wearing a black zipped hooded top, grey shorts and pink Adidas trainers at the time of his disappearance.

They have asked anyone who knows Dale's whereabouts to contact police immediately via 101.

A statement from Police Scotland read: "Dale Cosgrove was last seen in the Niddrie area of Edinburgh around 4pm on Sunday 24th May 2020 and there are concerns for his welfare.

"Anyone who may have seen Dale since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 4207 of the 27/05/2020."
