A 35-year-old man has died after falling from a fourth floor window at a tower block in Wester Hailes.
Police, fire crews and paramedics rushed to the scene after the incident, which took place at Cobbinshaw House - sparking a huge emergency response.
Ambulance crews rushed to save him, but he sadly died at the scene.
Four bed sheets were seen hanging from the window in Wester Hailes, sparking theories that he had been trying to climb down them when he slipped and fell.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:
"At about 2.05pm on Thursday 18th April 2019, emergency services in Edinburgh attended at Cobbinshaw House South following a report of a person having fallen from a 4th floor window.
"A 35-year-old man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he sadly died from his injuries.
"Police in Edinburgh investigating the circumstances surrounding the death have arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with the incident.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
"Inquiries remain ongoing."
