An Edinburgh driver was spotted pulling over his Lothian bus to join in with the weekly clap for carers movement.
The UK came together last night for the fourth week in a row to celebrate the NHS and keyworkers who are battling coronavirus on the frontline.
An amazing video shared by Lothian buses shows one of their drivers stopping his bus to join in with the weekly clap, which takes place at 8 pm on Thursdays.
The heartwarming video was shot by a local on Pilrig Street in Leith and shows the driver pull over at one of his stops to join in with the clap.
Lothian buses then shared the social media post writing: "#WellDoneThatDriver #InThisTogether #ClapForCarers #StayHomeSaveLive #ThankYouKeyWorker"
Police officers in Scotland also went the extra mile to celebrate the clap for carers movement.
In a remarkable video shared by Police Scotland, officers can be seen clapping and flashing their lights together outside of Edinburgh Castle.
Police Scotland shared the video saying: "Today we came together at @edinburghcastle to applaud everyone working above and beyond to combat coronavirus"
Another video shared by Edinburgh locals appears to show a family come together to play their trumpets on the street.
The video was shared by Absolute Dice who said: Clap for Carers: "#neighbours #edinburgh #StayAndPlay #StayHome "
