It’s a difficult time for Edinburgh's hospitality industry as we enter day one of all of our bars, pubs and restaurants being closed for the next 16 days.
Last night Edinburgh's bartenders and owners took to the Scottish Parliament in a peaceful protest to speak out about their industry being 'put on ice'.
Nicola Sturgeon ’s announcement means that licensed premises will only be able to operate as takeaways as part of a two week ‘circuit break’ lockdown.
Fortunately many of our favourite restaurants across the capital have jumped into action with new takeaway options to get the eating out experience at home.
