Instagram-renowned Edinburgh pop-up King of Feasts is back at Bellfield Brewery every weekend for the foreseeable future, dishing out their seriously filling-packed sandwiches.
And for fans of 'CEO of Stupid Sandwiches' Rob Casson's creations, his latest filling might leave you feeling a little patriotic.
For some Scots, mince and tatties is the food of nightmares, forced upon us as kids and for others its the best meal ever created (we're team Mince and Tatties here at Edinburgh Live) - and best served smothered in broon sauce.
Well, lovers of the famous Scottish dish are in luck as King of Feasts has revamped the iconic supper as his latest sandwich filling (because why not right?).
'Return of the Burns' is filled with ale braised beef mince, beef stock potatoes, pickles, cheddar and mustard - and if the photo of the gigantic sandwich is anything to go by you won't be hungry for a while after it.
Other sandwiches on this week's menu include the Yorkshire Gangster: honey roast ham, Yorkshire rhubarb chutney, whipped Wensleydale, Yorkshire cheddar, strong mustard and iceberg lettuce.
Rob will be at Bellfield Brewery in Abbeyhill this Saturday and Sunday (a stone's throw from Holyrood Park - a perfect location for sandwich scoffing) and to get your hands on any of his sandwiches this week drop him a DM on Instagram to pre-order.
