A local has captured the incredible moment Edinburgh Zoo Panda Yang Guang began frolicking happily in the snow.
Local Neil Gordon was enjoying a trip to the zoo when he spotted the giant panda playfully running through the snow, managing to capture the moment on camera.
Mr Gordon told Edinburgh Live: "Yuang Guang started running through the snow then rolled and somersaulted down the hill before climbing up a tree - evidently enjoying the novelty of the snow!"
Giant Panda Yuang Guang moved into Edinburgh Zoo in 2019, joining Female giant panda Tian Tian.
Yuang Guang has been keeping people entertained throughout the lockdown on Edinburgh Zoo's giant panda cam which gives live updates of what he is up to.
Responding to Neil's amazing picture of the panda in the snow, Edinburgh Zoo said: "What a spectacularly timed photo. Thank you so much for making our day."
