An Edinburgh resident has been left baffled after spotting a 'UFO-like' object floating in the sky above her house.
The woman recorded the strange shadowy site from her Saughton home at around 5.13pm last night and says she has no idea what she witnessed.
In the video, sent to Edinburgh Live, the dark object 'flies' back and forth in the direction of Edinburgh Airport and the resident said she does not believe it was birds, because of the way the object kept 'disappearing.'
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, the eye-witness said: "I'm still not sure, people are saying birds but I've got videos that go on for about ten to 15 minutes and I don't think birds can do that this long.
"Also they were disappearing, like proper disappearing - the sighting was coming from somewhere around the Edinburgh Airport"
