An Edinburgh woman was left in shock after capturing the exact moment lightning struck during last night's epic thunderstorm.
Twitter is awash with photos and videos of the monsoon-like weather that turned streets in the capital into flowing streams last night.
But one incredible clip stands out, as a local managed to catch a massive lightning bolt on film as it shook the city.
Sharing the video on Twitter, Sarah Gallacher said: " Oh my god I can’t believe I got this on video."
The clip has racked up over one thousands likes, with one writing: "That'll be the huge bang earlier?"
Across social media, Edinburgh residents reported hearing a loud "crash".
