Edinburgh landlord shares pictures of trashed student flat full of joint ends and knickers

Shocking pictures reveal the ridiculous state Edinburgh students have left a flat in and some of the crazy items they accumulated in four years living there.

The landlord of the Grassmarket property says it has been left daubed in graffiti with lube wrappers, knickers and all sorts of rubbish left everywhere.

Random items such as council road signs and pub advertising boards have also been found within the property and one tenant even scrawled a list of joints smoked on one of the property's panes of glass.

The owner of the flat says the damage created by the students is such that the financial outlay needed for repair is more than was paid in deposits by the tenants four years ago, reports Edinburgh Live .

A letting agency in charge of renting the flat out claimed that the condition of the property was adequate at the time of their last inspection.

You can in the gallery at the top of the page the state the flat was left in.
