Edinburgh's The Ivy On The Square restaurant has stayed open after several staff members tested positive for coronavirus at the high-end eatery.
One worker told Edinburgh Live that members of staff were self isolating after the mini outbreak, with workers from the Glasgow branch drafted in to cover absences.
NHS Lothian confirmed they were working with the restaurant to identify positive cases.
The staff member, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: "They are keeping the place running and also calling staff from the Glasgow branch and agencies."
Edinburgh Live approached the Ivy who responded: “We have implemented the highest standards of health and safety and follow Government guidelines in their entirety.
"All team members are tested on a weekly basis, and should a staff member show symptoms or test positive, they are asked to immediately self-isolate as well as any staff who have been in close contact.
“Our restaurant is deep cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis and the safety or our guests and staff is paramount.”
Dr Philip Conaglen, Lead Consultant for Public Health, NHS Lothian said:
“We are working with The Ivy, Edinburgh following the identification of a number of COVID cases.
“Close contacts have been identified and advised to self-isolate for 10 days with advice and guidance being provided.”
