Edinburgh home located in cemetery stars in Channel 4's 'Love It or List It'

If you tuned into Channel 4 last night, you may have seen somewhere familiar in Kirstie and Phil's latest season of their property series 'Love It or List It.'

The show sees the pair of property experts help out families who are fed up with the place they call home - whether they've grown out of it or are just simply fed up of it and in need of something new.

Kirstie Allsop and Phil Spencer play devil's advocate, as Kirstie finds way to help participants in the series 'love it',while Phil tries to convinces them to 'list it' and find a new home.

In last night's episode the pair met with Gary and Bill in Portobello, who were unsure whether to sell their 19th-century four-bed home or renovate instead.

Bill loved their home's character, quirkiness (it's in the grounds of a cemetery!) and close proximity to the seaside, but Gary hated the busy road next to it and the home itself layout (he describes the dining room as looking like a 'GP's surgery', and felt ready to settle down somewhere new.

The couple had lived in the Milton Road property for fifteen years and gave Phil a budget of £500,000 to find them a home that could lure them out of the capital. He showed them houses in Seton Mains in East Lothian, Howgate and further afield in Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Kirstie on the other, set to work with a £60,000 budget to completely do-over the interior of the Porty house, creating a new living room space and pantry.

To find out whether the couple chose to 'Love It' or 'List It' you can view the episode here.
