The Tartan Army may not have made it en masse to Qatar for the World Cup but a father and son team of diehard Jambos are flying the flag for Scotland regardless.
Lifelong Hearts fans Gerry and Mark Campbell were snapped proudly wearing the national team's shirts in Doha's Red Lion pub. Dubai-based accountant Mark, 33, and retired engineer Gerry, of Glasgow, are even planning to go to Friday's England v US game - despite taking some flak from England fans.
The Record reports how Mark said of the banter: "Need you ask? We have had a couple of comments like 'are you lost?' But we are here to watch football - and it has been great so far."

They compared their 'tents in the desert' in a fan village to the facilities offered at a music festival. It has cost 1,000 US dollars for five days, 100 US dollars a night for each of them. "We applied for a few tickets, took pot luck and got the England game against the US," added Mark. "It will be wild at 10pm on a Friday night for the kick off. The atmosphere for the games is amazing.
"We have been out with Brazilians, Argentinians, Mexicans, it is great craic." Gerry, 59, joked: "There will be a news black out in Scotland if England were to win the World Cup.
"There has been so much talk about the prices. In this pub it is £7 for a beer which is about what you would pay in Glasgow or Edinburgh - they are the cheapest prices in Doha."
England will qualify for the last 16 if they beat the United States. Manager Gareth Southgate said yesterday: "We would like to get qualification done as soon as possible.
"The first objective is to get out of the group.
"We would love to do that on Friday, but the game won't be anything like Monday. We have to make sure we are back to the psychological place we were at the start because the States will be an athletic team, well coached.
"They have quite a few players we know from the Premier League and they showed in the first half against Wales the best side of themselves. Monday was a great start and it is that reset to be ready for Friday."
