Edinburgh healthtech firm reports strong sales growth

Edinburgh-based healthcare software firm Craneware has reported strong sales during the last four months, “considerably ahead” of the equivalent period last year.

Full financial results are expected in January, but ahead of today’s annual general meeting, the business stated the sales were ahead of management expectations for this stage in the year.

Revenues and adjusted earnings before tax were expected to be ahead of the equivalent period in the prior year, “building the foundation for a return to double-digit growth in the future”.

Craneware’s value cycle offering, delivered via its cloud-based Trisus platform, gives hospitals the means to collect, analyse, compare, verify and correct their data.

Founded in 1999, the company also has offices in Atlanta and Pittsburgh, employing more than 350 staff.

The board statement added: “We continue to see substantial new opportunities entering the sales pipeline and the board is confident in the continued strong performance of the business.”
