Going to IKEA is still one of the most exciting things you can do as an adult (meatballs anyone?) let alone as a child, so luckily this half-term you can entertain your wee ones while shopping as the furniture giant at Straiton is hosting a whole array of kids activities.
Kids can pick up a word hunt sheet at the entrance of the store's showroom and find letters on the floor throughout the maze of bedrooms, kitchens and more and then rearrange them to make a sustainability related word.
Once the word hunt has been completed, children can claim a free ice cream from their bistro.
No registration is required and the event is running every day all day from now until 10pm on Tuesday 18th February.
There will also be face painting and arts and crafts for kids this weekend (Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February) in the store's restaurant.
