An Edinburgh local has been left furious after spotting a Greggs delivery driver blocking a major street in the capital.
Pictures were uploaded to social media showing the large delivery van with its back open as it drop off goods to the bakery. The truck is parked in the middle of a busy bus lane on South Bridge.
Numerous important bus services use the road that links Princes Street with Southside. The concerned citizen posted the parking appealing to the council to step in and sort the situation.

The picture was uploaded at the height of rush hour, when the city was due to be full of commuters coming back from work. It was later picked up by the Greggs team, who reached out to the frustrated local to get more information.
The person tweeted the incident, saying: “Parking enforcement on South Bridge needed throughout the festival during bus lane times please. Crazy loading by Greggs blocking bus lanes/stops headed south. Just load later when allowed!”
Edinburgh Live has contacted Greggs for a comment.
