A popular city centre cocktail bar has officially reopened today following months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Register Club, located within luxury hotel Cheval The Edinburgh Grand, reopened its doors at St Andrew Square today.
The fourth floor cocktail bar returns with the introduction of a new super indulgent Afternoon Tea experience from 3pm to 5.30pm every day.
The new Grand Afternoon Tea invites you to dine within our spectacular surroundings and indulge in a traditional Afternoon Tea that includes a classic and contemporary selection of sandwiches and savouries using the finest seasonal produce from artisan suppliers across Scotland.
For those with a sweet tooth expect homemade scones - fresh from the oven with clotted cream and homemade Scottish jam and a selection of the most exceptional pastries from their pastry chefs.
Since it arrived on the scene in 2018, The Register Club has quickly become an unmissable stop on the Edinburgh cocktail scene set in the impressive surroundings of the former Royal Bank of Scotland headquarters.
In addition to the afternoon tea a new look food and drinks menu will be available. Guests will enjoy an array of light bites, nibbles, and sharing plates with a Scottish twist.
All food on the menu is locally sourced and seasonal - expect to see haggis bon bons, baked taleggio and ox cheek and stout pie on the menu with small plates starting at just £4.
Afternoon teas start from £28pp, and champagne afternoon tea, which includes a glass of Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve, starts from £38pp and can be booked on their website.
