Going to the cinema is off the cards during lockdown as the country stays indoors amid the coronavirus pandemic.
However, one gin distillery is bringing a movie night right to the comfort of your living room.
Edinburgh Gin has has invited its fans to tune in for a digital movie night at 8pm this evening - and pouring yourself a tipple is encouraged.
Bill Murray's Groundhog Day was voted the film for screening by the gin brand’s followers in a social media poll.
And to ease the strain of social distancing, the movie night will be hosted through ‘ Netflix Party ’, allowing viewers to engage with each other in real-time during the film via a live chat panel.
Edinburgh Gin will also be running an in-movie quiz throughout the screening where some goodies are up for grabs.
For those looking to re-stock their gin trolleys, Edinburgh Gin has announced that £1 from every purchase made through its online store will go to UK drinks industry charity The Drinks Trust.
So get your gin and tonic and popcorn at the ready for a night on the sofa with fellow movie fans.
A link to the party will be shared on the brand’s Facebook and Twitter before 8pm tonight.
