The eye-watering property prices in Edinburgh's New Town have produced some wildly expensive garages, and this is no exception.
A double garage in Dublin Street Lane South has gone on the market for offers over £120,000, enough to buy a family home within commuting distance of the city.

The asking price is even higher than a garage which went on the market as a "studio apartment" in October last year for offers over £85,000.
Private garages like these are rare in the city centre and they could be at an even higher premium if plans to make certain streets car-free go ahead.
