An Edinburgh woman was left shaken last night after being harassed by a group of youths.

After returning home from work on Monday evening, the woman, who asked to remain anonymous, spotted the group vandalising her neighbours car on Ferry Road.

While trying to enter her home, the young men then began to harass her and subjected her to a series of abuse.

Speaking to Edinburgh Live, she said:

"There was a group of boys were damaging my neighbours car as I was getting back from work.

"Just in front on my staircase they tried to slap me, took off my hat and started throwing items at me but I couldn't even see what was that as had to cover my head."
