A huge queue was spotted in Edinburgh this week as sweet-tooths queued down the street for some unusual ice cream flavours.
Known to be a popular spot in the Grassmarket, both visitors and locals were seen lining up for Mary's Milk Bar on Sunday, with the sunny weather bringing out a craving for the cold stuff. Patiently waiting in line, one TikTok user had captured the queue as it was seen stretching out of the door, along the Grassmarket and up the vennel stairway, with the end of the line not even visible.

Captioning the clip "I need answers", user @hookyproductions said: "What is it that's so interesting about Mary's Milk Bar, what is it, what makes it so interesting, is there a bar of milk in there?" Gathering over 11,000 views online, Edinburgh locals were quick to respond, and to share the secrets of what makes the ice cream shop so popular.
One user replied: "It's some d**n tasty ice cream and they switch up the flavours a lot." Another commented: "It's some seriously good ice cream, not worth a queue though, must be tourists searching the top ten in the city."
Known for their unique combinations and flavours, the shop has had some incredible servings in recent days, which will definitely have been a factor in pulling in the crowds. Posting on their social media in the last few days, staff shared their flavour board, which included the likes of 'Lime leaf, lychee and ginger sorbet,' mango and cardamon ice cream and even a rose chocolate chip.
