Edinburgh Fringe 2019: Parks and Rec star Nick "Ron Swanson" Offerman is appearing for one night only

Fans of hit NBC comedy Parks and Recreation might be pleased to hear that one of its stars Nick Offerman is heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August...for one night only.

Offerman, who plays curmudgeonly Parks and Recreation boss Ron Swanson, is bringing his show 'All Rise' to the Assembly Hall on the Mound on 24 August.

The show blurb states:

"Join the star of Parks and Recreation and Fargo for an evening of deliberative talking and light dance that will compel you to chuckle whilst enjoining you to brandish a better side of humanity than the one to which we have grown accustomed.

"Genuflection optional: in my church, you kneel as you please!"

Tickets are £25, although you can get a pound off if you don't mind having a restricted view. You can book tickets here .
