Edinburgh Fringe 2019: Organisers on the hunt for aspiring producers who want to break into industry

The Edinburgh Fringe is looking to hear from aspiring producers for their "emerging producers development programme" that will help you break into the arts industry.

The programme, which is run by the Fringe Society and supported by the British Council, is for emerging UK based producers interested in using the Fringe as a platform for their ongoing career development.

It is open to all independent UK-based producers working across all disciplines and genres of performing arts and will offer the successful candidates a range of opportunities.

These include a £100 ticket voucher to see works at the Fringe, a travel and accommodation bursary of up to £250 to attend the Fringe.

There will also be an Arts Industry Buddy Scheme, "Match-making" with relevant Arts Industry professionals and an extensive programme of professional development workshops, discussions and networking events.

Applications close at 10:00am on 24 April. For more information and to apply visit the Edinburgh Festival Fringe website here.
