Edinburgh Foodies Festival to return over three days this summer

The UK's biggest food festival is set to make a return to Edinburgh this summer, promising their biggest celebration yet as Scotland eases its way out of lockdown.

As 'normality' comes back to Edinburgh, Foodies Festival will be at Inverleith Park over the weekend of 6th-8th August 2021 with "top chefs, tasty food, delicious drinks and live music".

This year's line-up includes Masterchef Champions and top local chefs cooking their signature dishes live - including GBBO winner Candice Brown, as well as Masterchef 2020 finalists David Rickett and Sandy Tang.

As always (and let's be the real, the best bit), there'll be a tonne of local food and drink to sample and scoff - think street food from all over the world and artisan producers a-plenty.

For the brave, there'll be an all-day chilli eating contest as well as other food challenges.

Foodies have written that they're keen to assure potential guests that they are "monitoring the coronavirus outbreak closely, taking guidance from the UK government, and that the health and safety of exhibitors, visitors and staff is our top priority".

Adult tickets are £19 for a day's access, with teens welcome for a fiver.
